Essential
My husband and I used Pocket WiFi for 20 days in Japan. The internet was good and my husband was able to get some work done that he needed to do. During the day we used it all the time to locate ourselves and communicate with our families. I highly recommend it, it was essential to make our trip easier and more accessible.

Excellent pocket WiFi
Ordered pocket WiFi to be delivered to.our hotel and it was waiting for us when we checked in. Very easy to set up and connect to it and worked well throughout Kyushu and Honshu. Excellent value for money. Easy to.return.
Good service delivery and performance
The device was ready and available when we arrived at the hotel in Tokyo. Performance was good in terms of speed and coverage. Weak point only were the battery lasting for less than one day and SSID change a couple of times that forced to new wifi network reconnection (but it was easy...). Satisfied anyway with the product.

Good connectivity and size for easy use on the go. The only issue is it tends to run out of charge quite quickly so the power-packed is invaluable
Good value and support
Essential item for the Japan traveller and good value. After a little hiccup early in the rental period this was solved by excellent troubleshooting instructions. Only things I would like to see improved are 1. More information on how you will receive the unit while ordering 2. Send the email with the full instructions on returning the unit a few days before the end of the rental period. I received mine after posting, I hope it was received OK. Other than that I was very pleased with the unit and will certainly use econnect again.
Very good
Very easy installation, literally 10 seconds after unpacking. Long battery life, free power bank. Convenient, full coverage throughout the entire territory where I was, even in places quite remote from large cities. Sufficiently high data transfer speed. Fast and good support from the company's staff. Of the disadvantages - the device menu is only in Japanese, the device heats up a lot during operation, in 12 days of use I had to reboot the device a couple of times, my iPhone did not automatically connect to the network when approaching the device.

Don’t travel without it
We hired pocket Wi-Fi from e-connect Japan before leaving the UK. We arranged collection and return from Narita, (terminal 1 post office)it was so convenient and the set up took less than 5 minutes! It meant that both myself and my husband were connected and had internet access 24/7. Unlimited data too. The device was light, compact and came with a battery charger- managed to get about 6-7 hours use before charge was needed. It never let us down, coverage was excellent. Would highly recommend using travel Wi-Fi from e-connect Japan and well worth the money. Great job!
Good choice for my trip
I used a wifi box during 3 weeks on my Tôhoku trip and had a stable connection almost everywhere except some places deep in the mountains and surprisingly one day around Hanamaki. The battery held for almost a day but since an external battery was included, this eas not a big problem.
A great choice for Japan travel!
The pocket wifi worked very well for the two of us. Set up and connection was simple. The included instructions for everything made it very easy. The only problem we had was that the battery didn’t last more than 2 or 3 hours. The extra battery pack was very useful and was used often. I would not hesitate to recommend Econnect to others. Thank- you also for your prompt replies when needed.
eConnect Equips You with Confidence
It can be stressful worrying about phone battery and lost WiFi connection when you’re wandering around the map. That was never an issue when traveling with eConnect. They also made returning the items simple. I will use their services again.

Simple and economical
Was just right for my 3 week visit. Carrying the device was no problem for me (just put it in my pocket). If I was relying on Maps for real-time direction every day, I would get a package with more data but I only needed that a few times and so the economy plan was plenty.
